Welcome To Feed Craven, A Non-Profit Corporation Our Mission Is To End Hunger in Craven County

According to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, Craven County in which we reside has 13,770 people living in households without proper nutrionally, healthy food. This equates to a stagering 14% of the county's population. A worse statistic is that 21% of the children under 18 are without proper nutritionally, healthy food. Facts as these led The Church @ New Bern in 2014 to form a ministry called the Feed Craven Food Pantry. The goal was to help bless absolutely anyone who needs food. In additon, clothing, words of encouragement, and prayer are also available. In order to help meet some of the food needs, we partnered with The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. With their help and of others supporting the ministry, approxiamtely 500 people are helped each month. It is out of our love for everyone that we are here. To share love in so many ways. Here are additional facts. (1) We are one of five agencies in Craven County which partners with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina to distribute what food they can provide. (2) We try our best to supplement additional nutritional food products with a goal to provide four healthy meals over a two week period for our guests. (3) All funding is from outside sources. And (4) financial funding is almost always insufficient to provide four full family meals for our guests every two weeks.
